Oh No You Didn't!

I like to watch folks. Sometimes, they can do or say some of the craziest things. I was talking to this young man the other day. He was telling me his plans for the future... Have you ever met one of them folks who like to act like they've got life all figured out and that they are the one running it????!!!! Hmmph


I just like to rear back in the rocker on my front porch and smile and say, "uh huh". The whole time the thought is running through my head, "Just keep on living, baby, your tune will change too!" I remember how when I was young I used to try to tell folks what I would and would not do, or what I would or would not put up with. All I got to say is until you have crossed that bridge, you don't know what you'll do.


Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with plans and intentions for life, but you also need to make sure you have a plan B; because sometimes, plan A never gets off the drawing board. And truth be told, plan B may fall right on its face before the end of the block so keep a plan C handy... just in case.

Day 1

Before I let her take over, I want to introduce you to KayMay; she's my alterego. Now, I'm not going to say we always get along, but she has endeared herself to me over the years and sometimes, she hits the nail right on the head! She's one of those types who is willing to speak her mind on any topic and she doesn't care if you don't agree. She feels she has earned the right to speak her mind because... well, she's 100 something years old.

I hope she doesn't offend anyone, and perhaps her insights might be a little entertaining; perhaps not. Only time will tell.

Note: If I think she's getting out of hand, I'll take over the blog until she's able to adjust her attitude... if she'll let me.
